Employment preparation and career training program that provides experience or vocational education for the work associated with a certain type of job MORE INFORMATION Provides academic and vocational training to migrant and seasonal farm workers help participants become economically self-sufficient. The National Farmworker Jobs Program includes: * Emergency supportive services (nutritional, transportation, housing, utilities) * Vocational skills training * Customized training * Job readiness skills * Work experience * On-the-job training * Computer literacy * English as a Second Language * Agricultural upgrade training * Pesticide safety training MET also serves low-income and disadvantaged populations throughout the agency's service area.
