Eligibility
In order to be eligible for financial assistance you must:
  • Have a diagnosis of cancer confirmed by an oncology health care provider
  • Be in active treatment for your cancer
  • Live in the U.S. or Puerto Rico
  • Meet eligibility guidelines based on the Federal Poverty Limit
Co-Payment assistance eligibility varies, depending upon diagnosis. The website provides a list of open funds, and will provide related eligibility criteria.

Provides financial help to people with a health condition or disability so that they can pay medical bills or other expenses related to health care. MORE INFORMATION Offers limited assistance for some cancer-related costs. Funding depends on the sources of support received at any given time. If funding is not available to assist you, professional oncology social workers will work to refer you to other financial assistance resources. Please check online periodically for funding updates. This program may help with costs such as:
  • Transportation to and from cancer treatment and lodging
  • Home care
  • Child care
  • Pet assistance and wellness
Please note: Financial assistance does not cover basic living expenses such as rent, mortgages, utility payments, or food. CancerCare Co-Payment Assistance Foundation: Helps individuals who cannot afford their insurance co-pay to cover the cost of medications for treating cancer.
