Eligibility

Recipients must:
  • Need residential crisis stabilization services to avoid hospitalization and return to pre-crisis level of function
  • Be assessed by a mental health crisis team, an Emergency Department physician or a mental health professional and determined to need this level of care

Crisis stabilization services are mental health services, provided after crisis intervention, to help the recipient return to his/her functioning to the level it was before the crisis. A crisis assessment and intervention treatment plan are provided to the individual upon arrival at the residential crisis stabilization facility. Length of stay ranges anywhere from 1 - 10 days. MORE INFORMATION Maureen's House and Guild Crisis and Recovery Center provide Crisis Stabilization Services for those living with serious and persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders, who are currently experiencing a crisis or emergency situation.
