Criteria for choosing families: * Currently reside in inadequate housing (overcrowded, substandard, cost-burdened, or temporary) * Lived or worked in Douglas County for at least a year * Income requirements and ability to pay * Willingness to partner

Homeowners make regular monthly mortgage payments, which are recycled to help build more Habitat homes

Home ownership program that offers financial assistance to make home purchases more affordable for those that meet eligibility requirements MORE INFORMATION This non-profit program builds, renovates and repairs houses. Homeowners purchase the homes with affordable mortgage payments. Both volunteers and homebuyers help build and repair the home.
