Crisis lines provide immediate support to help ensure a person's safety and help them take the next steps toward resolving a problem. Crisis intervention hotlines/helplines are available through telephone, email, chat, text or other communication methods. MORE INFORMATION Direct services to victims of sexual assault include:

• 24/7 information, referral, and crisis phone service and crisis counseling
• Advocacy and support during medical, police and legal procedures
• Individual counseling and support groups
• Referral for therapy, shelter and financial needs
• Community education programs on sexual violence
• Safety planning involving shelter
• Assisting with financial concerns
