Learn more about assistive technology costs that are covered through waivers in the Community-Based Services Manual. MORE INFORMATION Provides free equipment and training to people with both significant vision and hearing loss who meet disability and income guidelines. There is a wide range of equipment available. Some examples include: * Accessories like specialized keyboards, mounts, switches, headsets, and other support devices * Braille devices * Computers * Mobile devices * Screen readers * Signalers * Software * Smartphones * Tablets Professionals in each state determine the equipment needed by an individual.
