If you are interested in donating equipment, please fill out the equipment donation form or contact your local Care Services team member.

Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota

Program that accepts donations of medical equipment or assistive technology from the general public. Donated items may be re-sold at low cost, or loaned or given freely to those in need. MORE INFORMATION The ALS Association accepts the following types of equipment which must be clean, without damage, fully functional, and include all appropriate components (cords, batteries, chargers, etc.).??
  • Power wheelchairs – 3 years or newer??
  • Complex manual wheelchairs (tilt in space, full or semi-recliner) – 3 years or newer??
  • Electric patient lifts (Hoyer style, Sit-to-Stand) – 5 years or newer??
  • Complex shower chairs/transfer systems – 3 years or newer??
  • Speech Generating Devices (eye-gaze or touch) – 5 years or newer??
  • iPads/tablets - 5 years or newer??
  • Head mice/other mice - 5 years or newer??
  • Obi Robotic Feeding Devices - 5 years or newer??
  • Portable ramps – 7 feet or less in length
