Low Cost Phone or Internet Service - Lifeline

Eligibility

You can qualify for Lifeline:
  • Based on your income
  • Based on if you use SNAP, Medicaid or other programs
  • Based on if you are a survivor of domestic abuse, human trafficking, and related crimes

Application process

Two steps to get Lifeline: 1) Qualify by filling out the application online You can also call (800) 234-9473 or email [email protected] for help. 2) Choose a company near you and sign up for service with them. Search for a provider that serves your specific zip code online.

Lifeline is a federal program dedicated to making home and mobile phone and internet service more affordable for low-income households. This benefit provides eligible consumers with a monthly discount of up to $9.25. Consumers living on Tribal lands are eligible for an enhanced discount of up to $34.25 per month.
