Transportation program that provides rides for people in and around their community. Learn more about transportation costs that are covered through waivers in the Community-Based Service Manual. MORE INFORMATION Provides long distance non-emergency transportation throughout the lower 48 contiguous states for patients that need to recline during transport. They are equipped to transport individuals from a nursing home or medical facility to a location in another state. Service includes: * Bed-to-bed service transferring the client from bed to stretcher during pickup and from stretcher to bed at the destination * Provide client care during transportation * Specially modified full-size vans * Forward facing bed for patient, with the option to recline or sit upright * Staff trained in first aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/Automated External Defibrillator (CPR/AED) and medical transport * Price quotes include food, snacks, tolls, and beverages
