Eligibility
Residents of Clay, Becker, Douglas, Grant, Otter Tail, Pope, Stevens, Traverse or Wilkin counties. Shelter Plus Care Program: serves people who live in Clay, Wilkin, Douglas, Stevens, Traverse, Pope, Grant or Ottertail Counties. Applicants must:
  • Live in an emergency shelter or on the streets, sheds, garages, or other place not meant for humans to live
  • Have a verified disability
  • Have low or moderate income and
  • Work with an ongoing case manager
Hours
8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
Fees
Participants are required to pay 30% of their income towards rent and utilities. The program pays the balance of the rent to the private landlord.

Specialization

  • People with low income
Housing for people with low income, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, that includes coordination of other services for residents. The coordination professional can help residents identify resources, navigate systems or help with applying to additional programs. MORE INFORMATION Provides a supportive permanent housing program for individuals and families. This program teams the participant with support services from a provider of their choice.
