Program that provides a free or low cost meal to people in need MORE INFORMATION Provides children, elderly, low income families, and people with disabilities with a free healthy meal with a sense of social connection. Meals are available to anyone who is in need. There is no income or other financial qualification for a free meal. Monday - Thursday in Deer River, and Tuesday and Thursday in Grand Rapids, from 4:30pm - 6:30pm, a nutritious three course meal is served. With the availability of low cost transportation, several patrons who would not be able to get to the Café are able to attend. Take-out meals are also available after 5:30, based on availability (or for specialty services like Grace House and Youth for Christ)
