Eligibility

  • Preference given to persons of Native American heritage, disabled households, and in some cases, households that have been homeless.
  • Documentation of both disability and homelessness will be required.
  • Rental, credit, and criminal court history as well as income eligibility
  • This housing facility accepts individuals with criminal histories reentering the general public population from a correctional facility. However, you must not have had a felony in the last 5 years.

Provides housing and supportive services to individuals and families who are homeless or in need of safe housing. Transitional housing helps people live independently, address issues that led to homelessness or kept them homeless, rebuild their support network and transition into permanent housing. The length of time a person can use the program is limited. MORE INFORMATION Maynidoowahdak Odena (Place Where Ceremonies Happen), is a 14-unit housing complex, which includes aspects of tribal community living for individuals with disabilities, and their families.
  • Each resident works with the supportive housing services coordinator to develop a housing care advocacy plan to address issues that may impact their housing status.
