Provides non-emergency medical transportation for recipients who are one of the following: * Enrolled in Medical Assistance * Enrolled in state-only funded Medical Assistance benefits due to residing in an Institution for Mental Diseases (IMD) * A MinnesotaCare enrollee under the age of 21 * A pregnant woman enrolled in MinnesotaCare * Enrolled in Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA) Recipients must be attending a covered medical service and have no other way to get there. If you can drive yourself to your covered appointment, or if a neighbor, friend, relative, or voluntary organization is able to give you a ride for free, you cannot get a ride through this agency. However, you may be eligible for mileage reimbursement.
7:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday

If you are on a managed care health plan, call your plan first. Persons who are on Medical Assistance (MA) fee-for-service (directly through the county) call MNet directly. To schedule a ride: * Call between 7:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday * You must call at least three business days before your appointment * Have your trip information ready when you call * Be ready at least 15 minutes before your ride is scheduled to arrive If the bus is an option, eligible people need to call five days in advance so the agency can send the bus passes to the eligible people. Reimbursement passes are available if someone paid for their bus fare. Transportation evaluations are available which involves a physician approving someone and overriding the bus pass if they happen to be on a bus route.

Transportation program that provides rides for people in and around their community. Learn more about transportation costs that are covered through waivers in the Community-Based Service Manual. MORE INFORMATION Schedules non-emergency transportation for eligible people in the 12-county metro area. Developed specifically for people on Medical Assistance (MA) or MinnesotaCare who use transportation to access services funded by the state health care programs. This is not an ambulance service. The service is only for non-emergency medical transportation needs. Bus service may be the form of transportation that the agency offers.
