The Medicare ombudsman is a neutral party who investigates consumer complaints. They work with both the consumer and the service provider to resolve issues, offer information about Medicare rights and protections, and improve customer service. Helps to resolve a question or complaint about:
  • Original Medicare (Medicare Beneficiary Ombudsman)
  • Durable Medical Equipment (DME) (Competitive Acquisition Ombudsman)
  • Prescription drugs and medical technology products (Medicare Pharmaceutical and Technology Ombudsman)
