Eligibility varies by program. For Adult Continuing Education:
  • Individuals ages 14 or older who are blind or meet low vision eligibility requirements and are able to understand courses written in English at the high school level

Blind or visually impaired support services offer direct support to people who are blind, deaf-blind or with low vision. Programs may teach Independent Living Skills (ILS) to people with a visual impairment. MORE INFORMATION Hadley offers free social, emotional, and practical support for those living with vision loss, including:
  • Peer to Peer Program - Connect with someone who can relate to the everyday challenges of vision loss
  • Audio-Video Workshops - Guides related to various activities and skills such as daily living, adjusting to vision loss, recreation, working, technology, and Braille
  • Donahoe Center for Support - The Donahoe Center offers compassionate assistance, a supportive community, and trusted resources that promote well-being and foster connectedness
