Advocacy services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence include:
- Help create a safety plan
- Help obtaining a protection order (Harassment Restraining Order or Order for Protection)
- Attending court proceedings on behalf of or with victims
- Attending meetings with prosecution, probation and victim witness
- Assist in obtaining public assistance, food support, shelter, or other basic needs
