Program that works on behalf of individuals and/or groups to make sure that they receive the benefits and services for which they are eligible MORE INFORMATION Advocacy services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence include: * Help create a safety plan * Help obtaining a protection order (Harassment Restraining Order or Order for Protection) * Attending court proceedings on behalf of or with victims * Attending meetings with prosecution, probation and victim witness * Assist in obtaining public assistance, food support, shelter, or other basic needs
