Students at all Mankato Area Public Elementary, Middle, and High Schools Services are also provided to students of the following school districts:
  • Jamesville-Waldorf-Pemberton
  • Nicollet
  • Lake Crystal Welcome Memorial
  • St. Clair
  • Maple River
  • Sibley East

Food support is provided through free or low cost food that is distributed in boxes or bags to eligible people. This emergency food is typically offered on a specific date or a specific time. MORE INFORMATION Programs are available to youth in Kindergarten - 12th grade who have difficulties eating three meals a day because of financial hardship.
  • The BackPack Food Program provides healthy breakfasts, lunches and snacks for weekends and extended school breaks for students in kindergarten - 5th grade
  • The Power Pack Food Program provides healthy breakfasts, lunches and snacks for weekends and extended school breaks, as well as snacks during the school day for students in 6th - 8th grade
  • The High School Pantry is a school year meal program that offers a range of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack options for students in 9th - 12 grade.
  • Summer Pack Food Program provides healthy breakfasts, lunches and snacks for weekends during the summer months.
  • SummerTime Outreach Meal Program (Stomp) is a weekday meal program that offers free lunches Monday - Friday each week throughout the summer for all youth age 18 and under
  • During school winter break provides nutritious food packs as well as fresh and frozen foods including juice, milk, bread for students in kindergarten - 8th grade
