Eligibility

Rides are available to persons age 60 and over or qualified client. Volunteer Driver Program serves: Dodge, Fillmore, Houston, Steele, Waseca and Winona Counties. Care A Van program serves: Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Steele and Winona counties Rolling Hills Transit serves: Dodge, Olmsted, Winona, Fillmore, and Houston counties

Application process

A minimum 48 hour notice is recommended to request a ride. Fees

Donation requests are based on a sliding fee scale according to income. Rolling Hills Transit provides free rides to mobility challenged disabled veterans.

Transportation program that provides rides for people in and around their community. Learn more about transportation costs that are covered through waivers in the Community-Based Service Manual. MORE INFORMATION The Volunteer Driver Program offers rides to medical and dental appointments as well as personal appointments and to the senior dining program for persons age 60 and older Rides are also provided to medical and dental appointment for clients on Medical Assistance, Blue Plus, Medica, South Country and UCare. Call the number on the back of the insurance card to set up a ride. Care A Van service provides rides to medical appointments. Care A Van vehicles are wheelchair accessible. Rolling Hills Transit provides curb-to-curb transportation for everyone and will pick you up at your location.
