Transportation program that provides rides for people in and around their community. Learn more about transportation costs that are covered through waivers in the Community-Based Service Manual. MORE INFORMATION This service arranges for on-demand transportation services for older adults, using local transportation network companies such as Uber and Lyft. In addition to arranging transportation, minute-by-minute ride status updates and payment processing are also provided. Riders do not have to use a smart phone to get a ride, but can call from a landline or any cell phone. Riders and family members can register for the service online or by phone. Specific needs can be identified, such as poor memory, hard of hearing or uses a wheelchair. Services:
