Companionship programs provide volunteers to visit with people who are in the hospital, unable to leave their home, or socially isolated. Visitors provide conversation, reading or other social activities to help keep older adults or people with disabilities engaged. MORE INFORMATION The Gentle Help, Reminders, Assistance, Companionship, Errands (GRACE) program provides the support individuals need to live independently by offering these services:
