Minneapolis Recreation Development, Inc. (MRD)

Program where staff or volunteers interact with people who live on the street, build relationships, try to identify immediate needs and provide information about longer-term support services. MORE INFORMATION Provides basic living necessities for homeless, poor, underprivileged children and their families by delivering:

• Basic food items and sandwiches
• Clothing
• Personal care items
• Emergency funds
• Bus tokens
• Referrals to services

The 363 Days Food program prepares and distributes sandwiches each night to Twin Cities partner shelters and locations serving the homeless in the Twin Cities. They also provide sandwiches and bottled water to homeless individuals and families living on the street or totally outdoors.
