Provides housing and supportive services to individuals and families who are homeless or in need of safe housing. Transitional housing helps people live independently, address issues that led to homelessness or kept them homeless, rebuild their support network and transition into permanent housing. The length of time a person can use the program is limited. MORE INFORMATION Transitional Housing Program provides scattered site supportive housing to homeless individuals and families. The purpose for the program is to move economically challenged residents toward self sufficiency by identifying and removing barriers, integrating services, and developing plans for financial stability. Participants enter into a lease for a dwelling and pay a pro-rated amount of their income for housing. Provides limited financial assistance and supportive services to attain housing stability. Supportive services include resource and referral, ongoing budgeting and general support.
