DESCRIPTION: Tax assistance for eligible individuals Tax preparation help can include tax assistance, filling out forms, completing paperwork or filing taxes electronically MORE INFORMATION The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and the Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs offer free tax help for taxpayers who qualify. Certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation. The Taxpayer Advocate Service is a free, confidential service that assists taxpayers whose problems with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) are causing financial difficulties; who haven't been able to resolve their problems with the IRS; or those who believe an IRS system or procedure isn't working as it should. - Hosts zoom events to help senior taxpayers understand their tax return filing requirements, tax benefits to claim, and where to find free help

Eligibility

Free tax help is available to: * People who make $67,000 or less * Persons with disabilities * Limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns * Older adults - Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) is for 60 years and up
