Provides housing and supportive services to individuals and families who are homeless or in need of safe housing. Transitional housing helps people live independently, address issues that led to homelessness or kept them homeless, rebuild their support network and transition into permanent housing. The length of time a person can use the program is limited. MORE INFORMATION Provides housing and support for youth who need extra time before reconnecting with family or transitioning to an alternative living space Case managers work closely with program participants. Together, they identify goals, find resources to achieve goals, and work through obstacles. Case managers teach life skills and lend emotional support when needed. Programs include:
  • Rita's House - affordable rental housing and independent living skills for youth ages 18 - 21
  • Marlene's Place - housing for pregnant and parenting youth (ages 16 - 20) and their children (ages 0-3) in Hennepin County
