Free or Low-Cost Medical Flights

Eligibility
A passenger must meet the following criteria:
  • Have a non-emergency medical or humanitarian need far from home
  • Have a financial or medical need for assistance
  • Provide a doctor's name and fax number for LifeLine Pilots to contact for a Physician's Release
  • Be able to fly in a small, 4-6 seat, non-pressurized aircraft
  • Be able to board the aircraft with minimal assistance
  • Be able to sit upright in a standard aircraft seat
  • Be willing to sign a liability release form
  • Provide own transportation to and from the airport

8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
Application process
Complete the online application to request a flight. A Mission Coordinator will contact you after reviewing your paperwork.

There is no charge for this service.

  • Free / no cost to eligible clients
Provides help to fly patients, personnel or equipment to healthcare facilities. Flights are typically provided by volunteers. Programs can also support these services through donations or informational resources. MORE INFORMATION Using volunteer pilots they arrange free air transportation (airplane flights) for adults and children for such medical needs as on-going medical treatments, diagnosis and follow-up care.

  • For compassionate needs such as caregiver exchange, children to specialized camps, etc.
