Asian Women United of Minnesota (AWUM)

This program provides support to people in abusive situations and works to reduce relationship abuse, intimate partner violence and family violence. Programs may include crisis intervention and domestic and sexual violence education and prevention. MORE INFORMATION The Community Advocacy Program supports women and their children: * Safety planning * Assists with housing, shelter placement, and obtaining Orders for Protection and Harassment Restraining Orders * Immigration advocacy and assistance * Support and care for victims of domestic violence * Legal and financial advocacy * 24/7 multilingual crisis line and helpline * Community awareness-raising about domestic violence * Violence prevention training
