Companionship programs provide volunteers to visit with people who are in the hospital, unable to leave their home, or socially isolated.
Visitors provide conversation, reading or other social activities to help keep older adults or people with disabilities engaged.
MORE INFORMATION
The Visiting Companions program matches volunteers to seniors for friendly in-home visits.
Cards Connect is for adults over 62. Volunteers send handmade cards in the fall, winter holiday season, Valentine's Day, and spring.
