There are a combination of eligibility requirements set by the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program or General Assistance (GA) program to qualify for housing support. There are also income and asset limits. Generally, the program serves:

* People younger than 65 years old who have a condition that limits their self-sufficiency. For example, it may be a physical or mental health disability, visual impairment or chemical dependency.

Description
Provides housing and supportive services to individuals and families who are homeless or in need of safe housing. Transitional housing helps people live independently, address issues that led to homelessness or kept them homeless, rebuild their support network and transition into permanent housing. The length of time a person can use the program is limited. MORE INFORMATION Residents must be able to manage their own medications appropriately and effectively.
