IRTS programs use rehabilitative principles to promote recovery and development of psychiatric stability, personal and emotional adjustment, self-sufficiency, and other skills that help the person transition to a more independent setting. Group and individualized therapeutic interventions are provided according to the client's treatment plan and directed towards a successful transition to a more permanent living situation.
