Family caregiver training and education focuses on building caregiver skills, dealing with stress and managing the caregiver role. Learn more about family caregiver costs that are covered through waivers in the Community-Based Services Manual. MORE INFORMATION Caregiver specialists offer presentations, workshops, classes and skill building exercises to help inform and support family caregivers. Caregiver workshops offer a fun and educational experience for caregivers. Speakers from a wide variety of caregiver related fields offer presentations and skill building exercises to help inform and support family caregivers. There is also time for peer counseling and fellowship among participants. Each county has a Caregivers workshop that provides education to the communities on caregiver issues.
