Learn more about a specific topic and how to connect to additional resources and services. MORE INFORMATION The Senior Program is provided through the Senior Coordinator on Aging. The Coordinator provides assistance to individuals over 60 years old in Wilkin County who are in need of services. The Coordinator is available to make home visits, meet with clubs or organizations, provide office visits and telephone contacts. Provides information, assistance and outreach on a variety of programs, such as:
  • Alzheimer's information
  • Assistance with forms and applications
  • Caregivers support
  • Financial emergencies
  • Home delivered/congregate meals
  • Home health services
  • Insurance counseling - Medicare Part D
  • Nutrition Assistance Program for Seniors (NAPS)- Free Food Program
  • Senior companion services
  • Services for the hearing impaired
  • Services for the vision impaired
  • Transportation
  • Volunteer opportunities
