Eligibility

Available to homeless youth ages 18 - 21 who do not have a safe and permanent living arrangement.

Application process

Youth who are eligible may contact Youthworks for an application. Note the intake process takes 2 - 4 weeks and depends on available space.

Fees

There is a program fee charged each month. Upon transition into permanent housing, additional financial assistance may be available.

Provides housing and supportive services to individuals and families who are homeless or in need of safe housing. Transitional housing helps people live independently, address issues that led to homelessness or kept them homeless, rebuild their support network and transition into permanent housing. The length of time a person can use the program is limited. MORE INFORMATION Provides short-term transitional housing and support services to homeless young adults ages 18 - 21 Housing is available based on a 2 - 4 week intake process and apartment vacancy. Support services are available immediately. Housing services are available up to 18 months. Services include: * Furnished apartment * Counseling and mentoring * Support groups * Referrals * Educational and employment assistance * Independent living skills education * Assistance with food, bedding and personal hygiene items * Drop-in apartment support and supervision
