Eligibility

Families living in the Independent School District (ISD) 200 with children ages 18 and under who are experiencing an emergency, crisis or hardship

Hours

9:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday

Application process

Please call (651) 437-7134 to schedule a Project Share appointment beginning in early October. The following items must be brought to your intake appointment:
  • Picture ID for the adult completing the intake appointment
  • A piece of mail postmarked within the last 2 weeks, or a current online or mailed utility bill, for the adult completing the intake appointment
  • Proof for each child with their name included, such as school documents or a birth certificate. For 18 year olds, proof of high school enrollment is required.
Registered families meet privately with trained volunteers to develop their "Wish Lists" and are anonymously adopted by community members

Site Service Area

Residents who live within the boundaries of School District 200. This area includes the cities of: Hastings, Hampton, New Tier, Miesville and Vermillion and portions of these townships: Denmark, Douglas, Hampton, Marshan, Nininger, Ravenna, Vermillion and Welch townships. Food Shelf is open to anyone.
