Support Group - Mental Illness

DESCRIPTION: A group of people that meet on a regular basis to share their experiences and provide mutual support. MORE INFORMATION Support groups may include: * Family Support Group: A peer-facilitated group designed to support family members who have a loved one diagnosed with a mental illness * Connection Support Group: A peer-based support group led by trained facilitators for individuals facing the challenges of recovering from any serious mental illness * Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills class * Peer support services * Dual Diagnosis Support Group: Offers a forum for people who have a substance use disorder as well as a mental illness to address the challenges and issues specific to them in an understanding, inclusive atmosphere
