Crisis lines provide immediate support to help ensure a person's safety and help them take the next steps toward resolving a problem. Crisis intervention hotlines/helplines are available through telephone, email, chat, text or other communication methods. MORE INFORMATION The Crisis Text Line provides a way for people of all ages experiencing crisis to find emotional support and information. When a person in crisis texts "MN" to 741741, they reach a live, trained Crisis Counselor. The Crisis Counselor can listen, give encouragement, help that person to stay safe and healthy, and provide referrals for counseling and other support services.
