Winona County

This program provides support to people in abusive situations and works to reduce relationship abuse, intimate partner violence and family violence. Programs may include crisis intervention and domestic and sexual violence education and prevention. MORE INFORMATION Trained advocates help clients by:
  • Providing options, information, support and services in both crisis situations and throughout the aftermath of violence
  • Providing information and referral in areas of women's issues, domestic and sexual violence, and safe homes
This agency also provides outreach presentations to local Kindergarten-12th Grade (K-12) and college students, as well as businesses and organizations. The content highlights different aspects of domestic violence, domestic assault, diversity and the impact of violence on children.
