Elderly with low-income with very limited assets, must be approved for Admission by County Prescreening Department. The Little Sisters stand firm in their mission to serve the elderly with limited income and assets. Please gather your financial papers and be prepared to discuss your current financial limitations. Your personal needs and health concerns: Offers a continuum of care, but do not usually admit new Residents to the skilled care unit. They reserve the priority for those rooms for residents in the Boarding Care level and independent-living apartments that have come to need more assistance. Because of this, they look for new Residents to be able to maintain a level of independence.

DESCRIPTION: A nursing home is a facility or part of a facility that provides nursing care to five or more persons. Residents are typically older, frail (physically weak), or chronically ill (sick often or for a long time). Nursing homes are staffed 24 hours per day by trained nursing staff including licensed nurses and registered nurse aides. Most nursing homes in Minnesota are certified to participate in federal Medicare and Medicaid programs. This provider is a licensed nursing home by the Minnesota Department of Health and is subject to periodic health and safety inspections for regulatory compliance by the Department of Health.
