Kristin White is the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s Innovation Director of the Connected and Automated Vehicles Office, where she leads policy, planning, research and testing of emerging transportation technologies. Kristin has 15 years’ experience developing law and policy at the international, federal, state and local levels. Previous to MnDOT, Kristin worked for the City of Minneapolis, represented Fortune 500 companies in patent litigation at a London-based global patent firm and began her career as a Fulbright Fellow with the U.S. State Department in Japan. Kristin graduated from St. Olaf College with a B.A. in Political Science and Asian Studies, received her law degree from Hamline University School of Law, and obtained her certificate in global arbitration from Queen Mary University in London.
