Enterprise Continuity Director
Cathy Hockert is Minnesota's Enterprise Continuity Planning Director, and in this capacity, Cathy is responsible to ensure the three branches of government can continue to operate during any incident that may threaten to disrupt priority government services. She is currently leading the creation of a Workplace Violence Prevention and Response Program for the State of Minnesota, and is a member of the Capitol Complex Threat Assessment Team.
Cathy is an Adjunct instructor for Southern New Hampshire University, Louisiana State University, and FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness. In addition, Cathy is a member of a Type II National Incident Management Team and has been deployed to several disasters throughout the United States to provide her emergency response expertise.
Cathy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Minnesota—Morris, and a Masters of Public Health from the College of Health Sciences and Osteopathic Medicine, Kirksville, Missouri. She also holds several certifications in Business Continuity and Emergency Management Planning and Response.
