The MN State Demographic Center's DEM0GRAPH1C DAY CAMP is an intensive, hands-on, one-day training about understanding available Census data, accessing the statistics you need using American FactFinder and other free tools, and becoming a smart user of survey data--in a fun and unintimidating way. U.S. Census Bureau Training

The Census Bureau offers both web-based and in-person courses to help users access and understand Census Bureau statistics. These free courses can teach you how to use databases and mapping tools, find local and national demographic information for a variety of uses including grant proposals, economic data statistics for business plans, research papers, etc. Click here to learn more and see the Census Bureau's training schedule.

Twin Cities Research Group

Twin Cities Research Group (TCRG) is a local network of professionals in research, analysis, and applied social sciences in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul (Twin Cities) area. TCRG hosts a free monthly gathering over the lunch hour for researchers to present new work, share ideas with colleagues, and network. Demographic and related topics are frequently discussed. All are welcome, but registration is required. This lunch series is typically held on the 2nd Wednesday of most months at the Wilder Center in St. Paul.
