Per Minnesota Laws, 2011, 1st Special Session, Chapter 6, Article 4, Section 2, Subdivision 6, the Minnesota Department of Administration requested proposals to create, produce, acquire, or distribute radio programs that educate, enhance, or promote local, regional, or statewide items of artistic, cultural, or historic significance. Preference was given to projects that expand Minnesotans' access to knowledge, information, arts, state history, or cultural heritage.
Funded Projects
Funds were granted to projects that emphasized the 25-Year Vision funding priorities, community engagement, collaboration with local partners, diversity, innovation and capacity of the applicant to complete and sustain activities. Funding decisions were based upon recommendations by a committee of statewide arts, history, culture and broadcasting leaders as well as upon consideration of an applicant's performance on prior grants from the agency, if applicable, per Minnesota Statutes 16B.97, Subd. 4(1) and Grants Management Policy 08-02.
