Minnesota's archaeological licensing requirements dictate that when professional archaeologists complete an archaeological investigation, they must provide a copy of their completed reports to the Office of the State Archaeologist (OSA). Each year, OSA publishes a document that summarizes all of these reports. These documents are available in the listing below in PDF format.
Note: In many cases OSA does not receive reports for archaeological work that does not require a license. OSA recommends that copies of reports for non-licensed investigations also be provided to OSA. For professional archaeologists, it is an ethical responsibility to document one's work and make this information readily available, and everyone in the field benefits from access to the entire body of archaeological report.
