Reporting

In order to obtain a license, licensees must adhere to and be current on the following reporting requirements:

Project Reporting

One copy of the report (see OSA Manual for Archaeological Projects in Minnesota for details on reporting requirements by type) must be submitted to the OSA for each project within six months of completing the fieldwork. The licensee may submit a written application requesting an extension of this deadline. Digital copies of reports are accepted as .pdf files. List the license number(s) associated with the report on the cover.
The licensee must submit .shp files to the OSA upon completing the project. These files should show the project’s Area of Potential Effect and archaeological survey areas, including the type of survey conducted in each survey area. Please use this following file regarding Shapefiles: Reporting Shapefiles (ZIP). Do not change the templates, including adding columns or re-arranging columns.
