Q.  What is the process the individual goes through with you in your role as an Adaptive Technology Specialist?

Phil, University of Minnesota Computer Accommodations Program:

1. The student will begin by meeting with a Disability Services Student Consultant for the intake process. If the Student Consultant is unable to answer technology-related questions or the student would simply like to meet with an Adaptive Technology Specialist, the Student Consultant will make arrangements with the Computer Accommodations Program (CAP).
2. If the student requires materials in alternative formats, they will also meet with someone in Document Conversion.
