Using equipment and documents at college or work often requires you to hold things, move things, and grab things. Assistive technology can help you do this!

Easel.

Easels can hold papers, documents, books, and tablets, and most are fully adjustable.

Accessible Door button.

Accessible doors may have a lever handle, a button you can press to open the door, or a sensor that automatically opens the door.

Adaptive computer keyboard.

Adaptive computer equipment is available such as glossary icon ergonomic mice and keyboards, hands-free options, voice control options, settings for those with tremors or muscle weakness, and word prediction software and apps.

Adaptive writing aid.

Adaptive writing aids can make pens and pencils easier to use, record audio while writing in case you have trouble reading your notes, and some let you use your finger to "write" your notes on tablets and smartphones.
