Make It Talk!
You can use a variety of devices to communicate, including:
- Communication device
- Mobile device (e.g. tablet, Smartphone)
- Laptop that is also a communication device
You can use the communication device by:
- Typing on a keyboard
- Touching the screen
- Using eye gaze to select what you want to say
- Using a switch to select what you want to say

Eye Gaze
Eye Gaze devices give you visual control of a device. Keys can be selected by gazing for a certain amount of time to generate speech. You can send emails, browse the Internet, and more.
Head Mouse
The Head Mouse uses movements of your head to move the mouse pointer on a computer screen so it works just like a computer mouse. It can also be used to select items on your communication device that you’d like to say.
Proximity Switch and Plate Switch
A Proximity Switch and Plate Switch are examples of the many different type of switches available.
