Assistive Technology

If you have a disability, technology can be used in a different way, depending on your needs.

For example:

  • Alarm clocks are available with flashing lights to wake you up.
  • Computers can magnify documents and emails so they are easier to read.
  • Cell phones can be controlled using only your voice.
  • Elevators can take you to different floors in a building if you are unable to use the stairs.
