Overview

What is Identity and Access Management (IAM)?

OET's IAM service is a framework that makes managing user identities easier and more efficient. IAM makes sure that the right people can access the right services at the right time, by providing secure, authorized, authenticated access to devices, IT systems, networks and data.

Why is IAM important?

For citizens: An ever-increasing demand for online access to state services drives the development of applications that meet citizen needs, which creates new security challenges to protect the private data entrusted to your organization.

For state government: Today, state employees are using technology in new ways to collaborate with each other, and to access systems and data.

*Eligibility

Organizations in all executive, legislative and judicial branches of Minnesota state government and Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) are eligible to use this agreement. This enterprise agreement does not include counties, cities or the University of Minnesota.
