Biannual report covering the domain of IT applications, acquisitions and projects at state agencies. This report is generated from the enterprise information repository, an extensive compilation of the information portfolios of the state agencies, boards and commissions.


Technology Accessibility Implementation Project Report - January 15, 2013

This report provides an overview of activities and accomplishments since the last Technology Accessibility Legislative Report (January 17, 2012) and presents the committee’s finding, progress and recommendations for technology accessibility and usability.

This required report from OET provides some background on the current status of executive branch IT consolidation and outlines both specific and potential changes to legislation that will help in the implementation of the law to meet its full intent.

Technology Accessibility Implementation Project Report — January 17, 2012
This report provides an overview of activities and accomplishments since the last Technology Accessibility Legislative Report (January 15, 2011) and presents high level plans for the remainder of the biennium.

IT Change Item Initiatives Review ReportFebruary 16, 2011
This report provides the Office of Enterprise Technology’s review of the three IT project initiatives referred to us that were included in the Governor’s FY 2012-13 budget, as well as concise narrative explanations of the projects and how they relate to other IT projects.

2009 Reports

The Office of Enterprise Technology provided the following reports to the legislature in 2009. 

Enterprise Information Technology Portfolio Report 2009  — January 15, 2009
This report, published every two years, is generated from the enterprise information repository, an extensive compilation of the information portfolios of the state agencies, boards and commissions. Each portfolio consists of the agency's IT spending by category, strategic plans, assessment of significant business applications, and status of active IT projects. The enterprise portfolio covers the domain of IT applications, acquisitions and projects for which the Office of Enterprise Technology (OET) has oversight responsibility.

Strategic IT Planning Assistance to Agencies Report — February 27, 2009
OET is required to prepare this report annually for the legislature as part of the duties under Minnesota Statutes section 16E.04, Subd. 2 (c). This report is based on information gathered from individual agencies and summarizes the assistance provided to the agencies in IT planning. The report was developed using responses to a survey conducted regarding state agencies’ strategic information systems planning activities. The survey identifies at a high level the fundamentals of each agency’s unique approach to strategic information planning. Please note that the status of agency plans is available in the Enterprise Information Technology Portfolio Report 2009

 
 

2008 Reports

The Office of Enterprise Technology provided the following reports to the legislature in 2008. 

IT Funding Strategies for the 21st Century: building a comprehensive array of investment tools —  February 29, 2008
This report was delivered to the legislature on January 31, 2008.

Preserving the Present: A report to the legislature —  February 12, 2008
The report identifies several practical steps the state can take to address electronic records policy issues so that actions taken support the best interests of the state for responsible stewardship of information resources.

Alternative Financing for e-LicensingJuly 29, 2008
The report outlined funding options and opportunities for developing and maintaining an electronic licensing system ("e-Licensing").
